RecoverED – working very closely with Training in Mind and the University of South Wales has played a pivotal role in bringing the much-coveted Universities Association for Lifelong Learning Award for Innovation to the accredited version of the Mental Health First Aid (Wales). From its original inception, back in early 2015 until now, RecoverED has been at the centre of the development of this widely heralded partnership approach to community engagement, higher level learning and third sector training for building health literacies.
The UALL Award recognises not just the hard work everyone has put into developing the accredited version of the MHFA (Wales). The UALL Award also recognises the highly innovative approach the accredited version of the MHFA (Wales) has taken and we are particularly pleased of the recognition of the highly supportive and driving role that RecoverED has had in helping to bring the accredited version of the MHFA (Wales) to a wide and exciting audience. As MHFA (Wales) recognised trainers, RecoverED aims to continue this drive and to take the MHFA (Wales) to the heart of communities across Wales.
