One of our work days at the Archives. Some great work taking place.

We have a very good working relationship with lots of organisations, including the Gwent Archives. Here we have almost unrestricted access to records from across local history. One of our more exciting projects is linked to Pen-Y-Fal, the former ‘lunatic asylum’ in Abergavenny. At the Archives we spend time researching the records and discussing just what this means. We can access many more respources here too – such as old workhouse records, prison records and much more.
